NEWS RELEASE
DATE: July 14, 2010
TIME: 6:20 p.m.
LOCATION: 103 Amaryllis
EVENT: Homicide Investigation
INFORMATION:
At 6:20 p.m. the Orange Police Department was notified of a shooting at 103 Amaryllis in Orange, Texas. Officers found Jimmy Paul Taylor, a twenty-seven year old white male from Orange, Texas, had been shot in the chest. Jimmy Paul Taylor had been shot by, a twenty-six year old white male also of Orange, Texas.
Jimmy Paul Taylor received emergency medical treatment from the Orange Fire Department, and Acadian Ambulance Service. He was transported to Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Orange, Texas, where he died as a result of the gun shot wound.
Officers from Orange Police Department, Pinehurst Police Department, West Orange Police Department, and Orange County Sheriff’s Department are assisting with the investigation. Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace Derry Dunn pronounced Jimmy Paul Taylor deceased and ordered that an autopsy be performed. At the time of this press release no charges have been filed.
